SEE exam starting from today

The Secondary Education Examination (SEE) has started from today. The English subject examination is being held on the first day of the examination starting from 8 am. The SEE exam will end on Baiasakh 4.

The National Examination Board (NEB) has conducted the physical examination this year, which could not be held continuously for the last two years due to the corona pandemic . The board had made the results public on the basis of the internal evaluation done by the school last year.
According to SEE Controller of Examinations Arjun Rayamajhi, 2007 examination centers have been set up across the country for this year’s examinations. A total of 514,967 candidates from 11,615 schools, including one lakh 57,914 regular students and 257,053 female students, had filled the application form for the examination.

A total of 11,454 students from the two-year technical stream and 14,564 students from 299 technical schools are also participating in the SEE. Manang has the lowest number of 43 students and Kathmandu has the highest number of 36,000 students. Controller of Examinations Rayamajhi informed that 20 students of a school run by Nepali in Japan are also participating in SEE.
